AquaSplash Pool Services: Terms of Service
Effective date: September 1st, 2013
These terms describe what is included in AquaSplash Pool Services regular pool maintenance service, what is not included, and how additional work is handled. By scheduling or accepting regular service, you agree to these terms.
1. Minimum Provided Services
Every regular service visit includes the following, to ensure your pool stays clean, balanced, and swim-ready:
- 1.1 Testing the water chemistry (chlorine, pH, and alkalinity) and balancing it with standard maintenance chemicals.
- 1.2 Emptying the skimmer basket(s).
- 1.3 Emptying the pump strainer basket.
- 1.4 Skimming the water surface for leaves and floating debris.
- 1.5 Brushing the pool walls, steps, and waterline.
- 1.6 Cleaning the pool floor (vacuum or Hammerhead cleaning) as conditions require.
- 1.7 A visual check of the pump, filter, and visible equipment, with prompt notice to you of anything that appears to need attention.
- 1.8 Periodic filter maintenance (backwashing or rinsing) as conditions require.
These items are the "Minimum Provided Services." They define the full scope of regular service.
2. Services Provided at Our Discretion
The owner and employees of AquaSplash Pool Services reserve the right to include or not include any of the following in a regular service visit. These items are examples, not a complete list. When performed, they are a courtesy, not an obligation, and they may instead be declined or quoted as additional work:
- 2.1 Picking up trash, litter, or leaves on the deck, patio, or yard around the pool.
- 2.2 Removing, emptying, or storing floating items in the pool, such as floats, noodles, toys, rafts, and loungers.
- 2.3 Moving patio furniture, planters, grills, or other objects that block access to the pool or equipment.
- 2.4 Cleaning up debris after storms or heavy weather beyond the scope of a normal visit.
- 2.5 Removing pet waste or animals (alive or otherwise) from the pool or pool area.
- 2.6 Emptying or maintaining customer-owned cleaning devices (robotic cleaners, solar covers, and similar).
- 2.7 Deep-cleaning waterline tile, removing calcium buildup, or stain treatment.
- 2.8 Repairs of any kind, including pumps, motors, filters, timers, heaters, salt systems, plumbing, and leaks. Repairs are always a separate, quoted service.
- 2.9 Draining, refilling, or recovering a green or heavily contaminated pool. These are separate, quoted services.
- 2.10 Replacement parts and consumables beyond standard maintenance chemicals (filter cartridges, baskets, o-rings, and similar), which are billed separately.
- 2.11 Most things outside the Minimum Provided Services listed in Section 1.
3. Additional Work and Repairs
Work outside Section 1 can usually be done. Ask us. We will quote it before we do it, and we will not bill you for additional work you have not approved.
4. Repairs and Outside Contractors
AquaSplash Pool Services is licensed and insured to provide pool service and maintenance only. We reserve the right to refer or outsource any and all repair work to licensed and insured contractors. When repair work is performed by an outside contractor, that contractor is responsible for its own work, licensing, and insurance.
5. Access and Conditions
We need clear, safe access to the pool and equipment on service days. If access is blocked (locked gates, pets loose in the yard, vehicles or objects blocking equipment), we may skip the visit or perform only the portions we can safely reach, and the visit counts as completed.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version applies to all service after it takes effect, and we will make it available to you on request or on our website.
